Dave is a member of the Vyne community and has relied on Vyne to deliver his medical devices since he was discharged from hospital. Dave uses an indwelling catheter and uses a number of medial devices and accessories to manage his incontinence.
With Dave's help, we've put together a real-world example of how a system of products can work together to make daily life a little easier.
Dave gets a Ugo Foley Catheter on prescription, which is delivered by Vyne Prescriptions directly to his house. As well as being a shop, Vyne also offers a free prescription home delivery service. Currently Dave’s nurse fits his catheter, but is working towards being able to do this himself.
Fixating your catheter is very important. Without it you could experience unwanted pulling, which in turn could damage your urethra or in extreme cases pull the catheter out. Dave uses the Ugo Fix Gentle catheter clip, this product uses soft silicone instead of adhesive, which is a great option for him as it’s gentle on the skin.
Dave opts for a Ugo7C leg bag – this is because it’s 750ml, meaning he doesn’t have to empty it as often when he’s watching TV. It's got a short tube, which means he can attach it to his upper thigh, where he finds it the most comfortable. And finally the bag has a lever tap, which he finds easier to open and close. Many options are available, but it’s about finding the right fit for you.
Leg bag fixation is an important part of a comprehensive drainage system. If you’re using leg bags, fixating them correctly will prevent unwanted pulling and tugging to the catheter as your bag fills. There’s many options to choose form here, from leg bag sleeves to unique straps, but Dave chooses to use tried and tested leg bag straps.

Where does Vyne deliver to?
Both prescription and shopping orders can be delivered to all UK postcodes.

Do I have to be in to receive my shopping delivery?
For letterbox-sized orders, you don’t need to be in to receive the delivery. For bigger packages, you’ll need to be home or have arranged a safe space with our couriers – Royal Mail or DPD.
If delivery is attempted but unsuccessful, you’ll receive a ‘we missed you’ card which you can then use to re-schedule delivery at a more convenient time.

How long will it take for my shopping order to be delivered?
You can select your delivery speed at checkout. We offer standard delivery with Royal Mail which takes 2-3 business days, or next day delivery with DPD. Next-day delivery is only available on orders placed before 2pm and will arrive the next business day. DPD do not deliver on weekends. Orders placed before 2pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Orders placed after 2pm on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
You’ll receive tracking info from us as well so you can keep an eye on your order until it arrives at your door.

We're currently unable to take Vyne Shopping orders over the telephone, unfortunately. But our Customer Care team can talk you through the online ordering process if you're in need of assistance.
