The Ugo Fix Gentle features a soft silicone re-adhesive pad with a revolving clip to securely hold your catheter, giving you complete freedom of movement. No skin preparation is required prior to use and it can be easily (and comfortably) removed and re-applied to a different area of skin. The re-adhesive silicone gel pad is applied to the skin, providing gentle adhesion.
Compatible with most 2-way indwelling urethral catheters and suprapubic catheters, the Ugo Fix Gentle can be positioned on your thigh or your abdomen. By holding the catheter in place, it helps to reduce the risk of injury caused by your catheter moving – giving you a more comfortable experience.
The Ugo Fix Gentle is easy to apply, remove and reposition in a different area of skin as there’s no complex preparation, such as shaving, and the silicone pad just simply peels off when you're finished. Unlike other catheter clips, the Ugo Fix Gentle leaves behind no sticky residue when it’s removed.
The Ugo Fix Gentle catheter clip should be assessed daily and changed when clinically indicated, at least every seven days, or if the product starts to lift, becomes damaged or soiled, or shows signs of degradation. We recommend that you change your Ugo Fix Gentle catheter clip to suit your personal hygiene and physical needs. Ensure you do not use moisturiser or other moisturising skincare before applying the Ugo Fix Gentle, as this too can limit it's lifetime.
