Step 2: Starting your resident’s order

To get started, we’ll just need a few details so we can process the resident’s prescription and arrange delivery of their products - we'll cover this in step 2.

Welcome to Vyne Online!

Your account might seem a little empty right now, but don’t worry - we’re here to help you place your first order for a new resident.


To get started, we’ll just need a few details so we can process the resident’s prescription and arrange delivery of their products. Simply head to the Vyne Online homepage and select ‘order for a resident’ to begin.

Selecting a resident

If this is your first Vyne Online order you probably won’t have any saved residents in your account, so you can select ‘order for a new resident’ – and skip to step 2 below.


If you do have a saved resident in your account which you’re wanting to order for, here you can use the search box to find them. Search by name, date of birth, registration date and last ordered date.


Once you’ve selected the resident, we’ll automatically populate all the information you’ve previously given us about them. If you need to change any of the information we have on file about this resident, you can easily go back and amend this.

Adding their personal details

Be sure to enter your resident’s details just as they appear on their GP-issued prescription - this means capitalising their name where needed and carefully checking their date of birth. Don’t worry if you don’t have their NHS number to hand - we can look it up for you.

Entering their GP details

To proceed, we’ll need the GP information for each resident. You can locate their practice by searching with a postcode, town name, or the surgery’s name. If the GP isn’t listed, don’t worry - you can manually enter their details by selecting ‘Enter your GP manually.’


After the information has been submitted, we’ll take it from there. Vyne will reach out to the GP to confirm our nomination as the resident’s delivery partner. Future prescriptions will be sent directly to us, so there’s nothing further you need to do.

Letting us know their medical needs

We just need a few key details to set up prescription deliveries for your care home residents. All information is stored securely and is only accessible to our dedicated Customer Care team for managing appliance orders.


Please enter each resident’s NHS prescription exemption status and confirm their eligibility for free prescriptions. You can also accept our terms & conditions here and nominate Vyne as your care home’s trusted home delivery partner.
